EMI Training
One of the main focuses of the Florida
Floodplain Managers Association will be to encourage flood
hazard professionals to further their knowledge. In the upcoming
months, we will provide you information regarding workshops,
conferences and classes we believe will be of benefit. One
of the best training facilities for this is the Emergency
Management Institute. EMI offers many courses, but we believe
these are the most pertinent to floodplain management. (IS=Home
Study) (E=EMI 4 ½ day courses at Emmitsburg, MD campus.)
We encourage your participation in either the many resident
or non-resident courses this facility offers.
